FED:Labor ahead, but PM seen worse than Rudd

The federal government has turned around its electoral fortunes in the past two weeks
.. but it's not all good news for Prime Minister JULIA GILLARD.

The weekly Essential Research online poll has found Labor's reversed its standing of
two weeks ago .. and now holds a slim majority over the coalition of 51 to 49 per cent
on a two-party preferred basis.

The two main parties were on an equal footing last week.
